A bit about John...
John Tartaglia is a multi-award-winning actor, director, writer, puppeteer, producer and creator for television and theater who began his career as a puppeteer on “Sesame Street” at the young age of 16. His dream of earning a Tony nomination came true with his Broadway debut in “Avenue Q.” His Broadway career continued with roles including Lumiere in “Beauty and the Beast” and Pinocchio in “Shrek the Musical,” which he originated. He created and starred in Disney Junior’s “Johnny and the Sprites,” which earned eight Emmy nominations. John developed the off-Broadway hit “ImaginOcean,” later adapted into Jim Henson's “Splash and Bubbles” for PBS Kids. He has directed numerous theatrical productions, including “Kinky Boots,” “Beauty and the Beast” and Jim Henson’s “Musical World” at Carnegie Hall. For Apple TV+, he recently completed filming the second season of Jim Henson’s “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock” as a performer, executive producer and writer. John has also directed at The Muny, worked on national tours of Jim Henson productions and hosts “Sunday Funday With John Tartaglia” on SiriusXM.
